Students will dance the book entitled The Salamander Room to show understanding of the characters, adventures, key details and central message of the story.

- DANCE STANDARD 2: The student will identify and demonstrate movement elements (time, space, energy and motion) in performing dance.

Objectives
First grade students will begin to understand key details in the classic story of The Salamander Room through dance. They will also recognize main characters and adventures that take place in the story.
