The latest Art in Transit: From Schools to Community was showcased at Logan’s Summerfest Arts Faire June 15-18, 2022.

In its 10^th year, Art in Transit has adorned the Cache Valley Transit District buses with beautiful student artwork. Art in Transit’s goal is to bring art made by children into public places and showcase student artwork inside and outside CVTD’s buses throughout the Cache Valley Region.

This year’s artwork was created by students from Bear River Charter School.

Students from Bear River Charter School worked alongside BTS arts educator, Brooke Lambert to create self-portrait paintings, flower collages, and architectural prints.

6th and 8th graders used a grid enlargement system to paint larger than life self-portraits using acrylic paint.

2nd graders looked for shape, pattern, and texture in nature to create mixed media collages of flowers.

Kindergarten and 1st graders used line stamping and chalk pastels to learn about shapes in architecture.

Fantastic work Bear River Charter School, thank you for sharing!
